caversham wildlife park

it's 'seeing australian wildlife animal's day! it's a 30 mins drive from lynwood. we planned to wake up at 8am but unfortunately we all slept late and ended up going down the road at 10:30am. heh. anyway, it's quite a short distance so we arived at around 11 something. so here we are at Caversham Wildlife Park. it is located in Whiteman's Park. Whiteman's Park is huge! there's also a motor museum inside there, displaying old classic motors and cars. there's actually a railway station that is still working till today. unfortunately we only went to the wildlife park due to various reasons, money is one of them.
look at the sign! kangaroo, duck and ducklings, and guess what's the last picture,. it's tortoise! thank God everything was planned. we never thought we actually arrived there right when the 'meet wombat and friends' is ongoing. so we straight away headed to see 'em.
the CUTE owl. sorry, i dont know what is it called.
this is possum. it's actually carnivore.
 wombats awaited.
smelly, quite an ugly animal, :P wombat.
one of the 'friends', coockatoo. and alot more of them actually, but i cant afford to upload them all.
after we meet the wombat and friends, we walked around the park to see the enclosure animals.
this is the fox! i never know a fox can eat a human until today. the fences you see, is an electric fences. O.O we met 'Dingo, an asian wolf, Kookaburra, laughing bird, very cool Eagle, scary Emu and alot more!
 then, we met KOALAS!
naww, so cute! there's around five to six koalas in a row of eucalyptus leaves. they smells so nice! sarah even joked and said even their pee and poo smells nice too!
next was kangaroos! there's a huge field full of kangaroos there. we can touch 'em feed 'em and take photos with them. FOC, all of the animals above as well except for those in cage.
we were pretty scared at the first place. you can see we're actually a distance from the kangaroos.

then we started to love them!
 kangaroo food.
  feeding the kangaroo.!
notice that small little legs?! the baby kangaroo actually puts the whole head and body inside the mother kangaroo's pouch.
 albino's kangaroo is super cute.

molly's farm is the last station we went. lots of animals inside as well.
we all assumed it's an african sheep. it looks like it has a brown cape on his back.
look at that awesome goat, he's posing like a boss on that big trunk.

we all wanna try a self take photo with the ram and sheeps. too bad only burt and ee succeed. oh well..

1.00pm it's farm show!
that's the shearing machine. we watched the whole shearing the sheep process. it was cool. but i feel pity for the sheep tho. i think it's painful and suffering for them. you can actually see some cuts on them. we also watched how kelpies, one of the coolest dog breed mustering the sheep. these dogs have been doing this job for over 200 years! and oh! we milk the cow too. the name's brenda. it's too huge to fit in the camera.

we say goodbye to caversham wildlife park at around 3.00pm and we were starving! we headed to the nearest Nando's.

the hot peri-peri chicken is really good. it's a portugese food.
it's a saturday so i went to youth as well. it was really cool. Immanuel Methodist Church. i'll keep coming till im going home. ;)
