few days of heavy wind and storms finally we get a sunny day and out we go to Northbridge!

see the splash of water from the river pouring in.

Northbridge. so-called chinatown in perth. a lot of chinese restaurant, oriental shops here. and so it is time to EAT! ps: not eating chinese food tho.

Chocolateria San Churro

Churros for two. not bad for my first try. dark and milk chocolate. next, Korean bbq! 

i love it here. so so nice.! i ate alot here cause it's really yummy, despite the heavy smoke smell after we eat.

crap! i think i've gained 2 kg so far! 

road trip 4

last day of our road trip. a simple sightseeing nearby our Ooi house, we found an unknown beach. there were actually people surfing there! we were already freezing eventho we had jumpers on and scarfs all over our body. i wonder how they can stand the cold, i think they cant stand not to surf one day when the wave hit, surf lover.

 very nice and clear rainbow that i can actually counted the rainbow colour one by one. 

 the wave is quite big tho.

 dark blue ocean, pretty! next, we went to the famous busselton jetty! the longest wooden jetty in south australia, stretching almost 2km out to the sea.

there's train to bring you out if you are lazy to walk. there's an underwater observatory as well. too bad we didnt go. i think it would be really awesome to actually see the aquatic wonders from underwater. naisss.

but nope, we had lunch at More Restaurant, recommended by the Visitors' Information nearby, then we finally headed home!

road trip 3

third day of the road trip. weather was cool and we went up north, Cowaramup. there's a lot of factories up there and we can do tasting! it was an eating and spending money day. heh

 first stop, cheese factory

 swiss cheese, feta, sweet chilli cheese and lots more. but i personally am not a cheese fan so, i almost puke when i tasted all the cheese. loved the yogurt tho. 

 chocolate factory! yesh, my fav of all.

 white choc, milk choc and dark choc. loving all of it.

 jams, mustards, honey and chocolate liquor was found here.

 strawberry and raspberry jam was my fave. honey tasted good as well.

 wines and nougat. and you know what, we found a new pronunciation of 'nougat'. normally we say 'nogget'. but old australian pronounce it as 'nuggat'. if y'all get me.

so we had bbq for our last night in Ooi house!

a very cold yet filled with warmth and laughters' night.

road trip 2

woots! it's watching awesome scenery day! we went to Augusta, the most southern tip of Australia. The ocean here is where the Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean meet! how cool is that! we went to The Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.

 tadaaaa! next, we went to vineyard. 

 tasting all kinds of wine. from rampant white, sauvignon blanc to rose and merlot. don know why that time i was feeling really thirsty, so i gulp all the wines. taste pretty good, and strong too.

 next, Hamelin Bay! now i can tell everyone ive been to the. most. amazing. beach.! 

 scroll back and look at all those photos again! such a breathtaking moment. loving the view to the max! i wouldnt mind print the photos in big size and frame it on my wall. too beautifulllll~

then we had homemade pasta and bacon mashpotato for the night. YUM!
